CREATING SAFE SPACES FOR ABUSE VICTIMS

Jonathan’s House Ministries aims to provide safe houses for men who have been victims of abuse with the offer of both short-term and long-term respite options. Our houses are run by people with a Christian faith but are open to people of all faiths and none. Our safe houses will launch in Wales, and expand across the UK in the coming years.

We also create and promote safe spaces within local churches and their communities for men to be recognised for the reality of their situations. These spaces give men a space to talk to people within their church communities, with the option of further referred support through Jonathan’s House.

BE PART OF THE SOLUTION

Here at Jonathan’s House Ministries, we believe in being part of the solution and if it means men receiving the help they so need, we will go against the grain. More men are abused nationally yet the UK government do not recognise the seriousness of the issue. If a man is abused, they are included in the same statistics alongside sexual violence towards women and children.

To enable better funding and better support, Jonathan’s House Ministries will take the below petition to the UK Government to seek changes.

If you feel led, hopefully you will do, please consider supporting us and together we can make a difference.
