Jody has met with a senior town leader within Bridgend, to discuss the vision and mission statement behind Jonathan’s House.  They discussed the seriousness behind the need of new safe houses within Wales for men who have been victims of abuse.  They went through the startling statistics regarding abuse towards men, and how Wales has the second highest rate of abuse towards men in the UK, in fact more men than women are being abused in Wales.  The town leader asked how they can help towards the mission. Jody has also contacted Mankind and Safer Wales to correct links between the three organisations.  Jody is passionate about creating these links because only through working together as a team can there be consistent reliable help for men.
